- Ditch the bad habits and protect your smile. Avoid bad habits like nail biting or chewing on ice, and always use a mouthguard if you play sports. These can keep your teeth in great shape and reduce your risk of trauma and injury to the teeth, gums, and even the soft tissues of the mouth.
