Dr. Devon Paris grew up in Columbus, Georgia, attending activities like Tumbling Bears Gymnastics, Toni’s Dancing School, and later Columbus Redstar Futbol Club. After completing High School at Brookstone, she headed to Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, on an athletic scholarship to play Division I Soccer. During her Junior and Senior season, she was awarded the responsibility of co-captain for the Samford soccer team. She completed her undergraduate training at Samford University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
She then received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Georgia Regents University’s College of Dental Medicine, formerly Medical College of Georgia’s School of Dentistry, in 2014. During dental school, she was President, Vice President, and Public Relations officer for GRU’s Give a Smile, an organization that raises money for needy patients. She also participated in the Hispanic Student Dental Association and was the Secretary for the group her third year at GRU. In addition to these organizations, she volunteered in her community at various events throughout the Augusta area. Dr. Paris was awarded the very first Department of General Dentistry Faculty Achievement Award for “outstanding and commendable performance and professionalism as a senior dental student.”
Dr. Paris is an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and The Hinman Dental Society. She is committed to serving patients of all ages with the utmost care, furthering her knowledge, and perfecting her skills through numerous continuing education courses. When Dr. Paris is not helping her patients achieve their ideal dental health, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Andy, and her two kids under 3! The little ones keep her on her toes, but when she isn’t changing diapers or potty training, she loves taking walks around the neighborhood, eating some of the delectable chocolate croissants at My Boulange, and catching up with friends and family.
